This 500 Series mahogany-top Grand Concert 522ce will appeal to
rootsy fingerstyle players who want a comfortable playing experience and
enjoy the sound and look of an all mohogany guitar. The 24-7/8-inch
neck makes fretting and bending strings easier, while the mahogany top
and body produces a signature midrange warmth and focus with a natural
compression. Taylor's new patented V-Class bracing pattern coaxes new
levels of projection, sustain, and improved intonation out of the
guitar. The interior label on all V-Class guitars bears the signature of
master guitar designer Andy Powers. A smooth shaded edge burst adds a
tasteful vintage look to the rich-grained mahogany top. With
appointments like a faux tortoise pickguard and grained ivoroid
"Century" fretboard inlays, this model is also fitted with Taylor's ES2
system and is ready for the stage.
