The Ibanez 2018 RG8570Z J Custom Electric Guitar is an awesome Japanese built model that offers incredible playability, ferocious tones, and looks epic at the same time. As if all that wasn't enough, Ibanez has even included a hardshell case to take your new pride and joy with you in safety and style.

Sleek RG body profile

When it comes to crafting exceptional guitars, Ibanez are master at their craft. Their Japan-based team have employed African mahogany with the task of generating an enviable tonal palette, whilst retaining a lightweight feel. Paired with the mahogany is a breath-taking AAA flamed maple top to offer up a feast for the eyes. The combination of mahogany and maple establishes a flavourful tone infused with low-end growl, mid-range punch, and searing highs.
The body is shaped to the classic RG body profile, which is a deep double-cutaway beauty with contoured curves and bevelled edges in all the right places to ensure a peerless playing experience. The slender body depth works well to promote a figure-hugging feel, allowing you to pull the guitar close and rock out to your heart's content.

Super Wizard neck

Joined to the body is a firm and unyielding five-piece maple/wenge neck. Stable as it may be, the neck is also delicately carved to afford the most accommodating feel imaginable. Ibanez know a thing or two about maximising playing comfort, and this neck lives up to their high standards. The Super Wizard profile sits sweetly in the hand, allowing you to fret chords and sail through sweeps like a hot knife through butter. Paired with the neck is sumptuous 24-fret fingerboard, which is decorated with the unique Tree of Life inlays to guide your way in style.

DiMarzio pickups

To enable you to make the most of the adaptable tones at your very fingertips, Ibanez have fitted a trio of outstanding DiMarzio pickups to the RG8570Z J Custom. In the neck position you'll find an Air Norton, which offers depth and warmth without the muddiness, it is searing hot without the distortion, and cleans up beautifully. In the middle position resides the True Velvet, a single-coil pickup that is bright and clean, and ensures that your notes are articulated with the utmost clarity along the entire length of the neck. In the bridge you'll find The Tone Zone, a humbucker that produces a wide dynamic range with a fat and uncompromising presence. Between these three, you'll find everything needed to cruise along with unbelievable precision.

Hardware and Finish

The body of the RG8570Z J Custom is equipped with an Edge Zero tremolo bridge with the Zero Point 3 system, giving you total mastery over your vibrato for executing deep divebombs and soaring wailing.
