This limited-edition 30th-anniversary Hughes & Kettner TubeMeister 18W head packs all the phenomenal range and clarity of the TubeMeister circuitry, and now includes a secret weapon: vintage Russian military-grade EL84 tubes that deliver higher output than standard versions found elsewhere. The Sovtek tubes were unearthed after being in storage for more than 30 years, and now they'e ready to take your tone to the next level in an already-awesome amp.

Manufactured in the legendary Saratov factories, the tubes comply with military-grade specifications for the aircraft industry (highest reliability, strictest tolerances), built to last for a lifetime with a consistent quality and power. They deliver noticeable more output than standard EL84s, what results in more headroom for clean tones and even more punch for overdrive sounds.

And, these highly collectable models also feature a special 30th-anniversary logo on the faceplate.

For the TubeMeister 18W, Mr. Hughes and Herr Kettner packed all their know-how and over a quarter of a century's passion for tube amps into a remarkably compact chassis. Thanks to German engineering, it can go from a roar to a whisper, shaking the boards on stage, tingling spines in the studio, and raising goose-bumps in the still of night”even during silent recording.

Serving up three different sounds at the touch of a footswitch, the soulful Tube-Meister 18 is the go-to guitar amp for gigging. Its four-step power soak brings the sound of the big stage into small clubs and your own four walls. And courtesy of the built-in Red Box and silent recording capability, you can lay down pro-quality tracks at any time day or night.
