What
makes this guitar special: This is a straight-forward guitar with
fantastic tone and playability. Anyone with any background information
on John Page can likely imagine how this guitar feels and plays. It has
Custom Shop quality minus the gaudy appointments and sounds just as
good. The Bloodline single-coils have a tone of character and yet still
carry a ton of classic tone in each of its five positions. The neck
plays easily and will be comfortable and familiar to a wide variety of
players with its common medium C shape. The body is also very clean and
comes in a killer Shoreline Gold finish, making a simple yet potent and
well-rounded package that will fit into any roster with ease.
Body:
Double cutaway contoured alder body in Shoreline Gold finish. 3-ply
white pickguard. Gotoh 510 tremolo bridge. White plastic top hat control
knobs.
Neck: Medium C shape maple neck and 12” radius maple
fingerboard with offset black dot inlays. Gotoh vintage-style staggered
tuning machines. 1 11/16” nut width. 22 nickel silver frets. 25.5”
scale.
Electronics: John Page Bloodline JP-1 single-coil pickups in
the neck, middle, and bridge. 1 x master volume, 1 x master tone
control. 5-way pickup selector w/ noise canceling in 2nd and 4th
positions.
Weight: 7 lbs 7.9 oz
Playability/Sound: The neck plays
great and will likely be familiar and comfortable to many players with
its common C shape. The pickups are exactly like you’d imagine in a 3
single-coil configuration, but have a bit more mid-range emphasis and
overall smoothness than most other new guitars of a similar style on the
market.
