The Schecter Pete Dee PT Electric Guitar features both Schecter and Duncan Designed pickups to deliver a wide range of tonal possibilities. The signature PT guitar delivering rockabilly hollow body guitar tones, to powerfully modern tones, making it a very versatile instrument. With a body crafted from Alder, and a neck made from Maple, the guitars natural tones are bright and rich, with an incredibly high resonance. Also featuring a Bigsby flat top bridge, Schecter locking tuners, and a Rosewood fingerboard, Pete Dee’s PT guitar is given chrome hardware and a gloss black finish to deliver a visually stunning look.

Alder Body

The Schecter guitar features a body constructed from high quality Alder wood, creating a balanced sound with an incredibly high resonance. Its tone is full and rich, offering both dark and bright characteristics to the guitar’s tone, and produces beefy mids with a full bodied feel. The Signature guitar also features a bigsby flat top bridge, white Binding, chrome hardware and a gloss black finish.

Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard

The Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard has been designed with a thin "C" shape for a smooth, fast play. The Maple wood provides bright characteristics to the overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. When the strings are played hard, the wood produces more punch to the tone, and when played with light or medium picking, then tone has excellent clarity. Adding a Rosewood Fingerboard the tone becomes warmer and softer, with sparkling highs and thick lows. The guitar also comes with many other features including Schecter locking tuners and Adicts custom design inlays on the fingerboard.

Duncan Designed and Schecter Pickups

The Signature Schecter features two different pickups to deliver a wide range of tonal possibilities. In the Bridge position is the Schecter Diamond SuperRock Custom Alnico pickup, offering modern tones that are powerful, and adaptable. The Schecter pickup can go from clean tones to heavy distortion, and still sound incredible, with an articulation that changes to suit the playing style. In the neck position is the Duncan Designed FG-101 which can produce a big, brash tone with a touch of snarl. The Duncan pickup imitates the tones that would be produced in a hollowed bodied guitar, offering a classic rockabilly sound.
