Demon-6 FR with Duncan Designed Active Pickups
Great for the hard rock or metal guitarist, this guitar is fully
loaded with Duncan Designed HB-105 pickups, with an awesome aged black
satin finish and gothic inlays.
Quality Guitar Construction
Carved from Basswood, the smooth body of the Demon-6 FR with its Aged Black Satin finish features an eye pleasing arched top.
Bolt-on construction sees the inclusion of a nicely playable Maple
neck that has a thin ‘C’ profile. A classic Rosewood fretboard is used
which features 24 X-Jumbo size frets and beautiful grey pearloid Gothic
crosses as inlays, befitting the dark theme of the guitar.
Aged crème binding around the body of the Demon-6 FR protects the
guitar while adding some extra visual appeal due to its contrast with
the black satin finish.
Duncan Designed HB-105 Pickups
Fitted in both neck and bridge positions, Duncan Designed HB-105 pickups give the Demon-6 its devilish roar.
Looking at some of the most popular active pickups on the market, it
was found that many use unbalanced inputs in a differential preamp,
possible to produce a certain tonality. The downside of this is that the
unbalanced nature means these pickups are not very effective at
cancelling noise.
With the Duncan Designed HB-105 pickups, the engineers managed to
perfectly capture that same popular tone, but while using balanced
inputs. The end result is an incredible pair of pickups with great noise
cancellation, making them 12 – 14dB quieter than their competition so
you get more pure tone.
A three-way pickup selector switch allows you to select between the
bridge and neck pickups individually or a combination of the two.
Two metal knurled knobs allow you to tailor your tone to your exactly liking and adjust the overall volume level of your sound.
High-End Hardware
Black chrome hardware completes the look of Demon-6 FR Satin Black, giving it an overall sleek and stylish aesthetic.
Genuine Floyd Rose Special hardware is used at the nut and bridge.
With a Floyd Rose Special tremolo installed, you can go for some deep,
expressive whammy bar action while the Floyd Rose Special nut locks your
strings perfectly in tune and aligned.
