Tokai AST-123SH SEB Modern in Lake Placid Blue is a
new model introduced in the NAMM 2018, an ST-type electric guitar
handmade in Japan with carefully selected tonewoods and high quality
parts based on the classic ST bodyshape but tweaked with modern ot
rodded features and stunning visuals.
The Tokai AST-123 SEB has an SEB (Sound Effect Body) Consruction
which is a registered patent by Tokai Guitars, this technology is
derived from their piano manufacturing experience with alder top layer -
cross cut grain alder middle layer- and alder back layer and one piece
maple neck with a glossy finish and rosewood fretboard, 22 medium sized
frets and 9.5" radius for easier playability.
This limited model is equipped with Gotoh F510T Two Point Tremolo,
powerful and hot with plenty of gain boutique Lawrence White HSS pickups
with coil tap switch for bridge humbucker position and Gotoh SD-91
Vintage machine heads.
It has a Lake Placid Blue color with a gloss Poly finish, beautiful pearloid pickguard with metal knobs and nickel hardware.
Includes a durable Tokai Vintage Hard case.
