The Faded HP is the cheapest of the high performance models that doesn't have a thick glossy finish but has a thin faded gloss instead. It's a highly modernised guitar with the G-Force automatic tuning system, titanium bridge saddles and nut and the 61R and 61T pickups. They've also created a new modern weight-relief to ensure that a heavy slab of mahogany won't break your back. And the internal weight-relief isnt the only new feature. The outward appearance has also been upgraded with the chrome pickup covers, knobs and tunings heads making for an absolute stunner of a guitar! Slim taper neck The Slim taper neck is comfortable in the hand without being too flat or too round either. The fret edges are rolled on all of the new Gibson 2017 models which makes them feel played in, straight out of the box and this is something normally found on Gibson Custom shop models. Pickups The pickups are 61R and 61T which are high-output modern pickups. They still give you that classic Les Paul tone but with a bit more clarity in the upper-mid and treble frequency range. They'll easily handle styles as diverse as blues and hard rock or even metal. G-Force The G-Force system is an automatic tuning system that sits behind the headstock. It runs on a battery that holds charge for up to 100 hours but only loses charge when used. It makes life incredibly easy when changing tunings between songs on stage or in studio, or even to tweak or adjust your tuning in between songs. It's as easy as hitting the on button, then hitting the tune button and letting it do it's thing. And if you don't want to use the automatic tuning system, then you can use the tuners as you would on a traditional guitar, as long s the system isn't turned on.
